Hotel Caparena

We had a week stay at hotel caparena and there are plenty of positives but also some suggestions that could of made it better. Positives: * Reception staff very helpful * Food in the main restaurant is very nice both at breakfast and evening meal * Rooms cleaned everyday with fresh towels * kettle with Tea & Coffee in the room ( no milk though) * Private beach (need sea shoes) * Free shuttle taxi to and from Taormina throughout the day and evening Negatives: * No shop on site or nearby to walk too. * No water or milk in the rooms even though they have put a kettle and tea and coffee in. * Beach restaurant closed * beach sunbeds on a big slant so you keep sliding off them. Not very comfy * no entertainment throughout the day or night Suggestions: * Pool bar needs a revamp and some low seating * music around the pool would be good * only 4 things on the pool food menu * table service would be nice at the beach bar * some evening entertainment would be good

The staff were super courteous. The shuttle bus was very convenient. We enjoyed the beach club and the food was lovely and we enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Overall we enjoyed our stay. We got super lucky and given an upgrade to a suite and it was so wonderful!!!! We loved it! Grazie Mille!

It’s an older property and you can see it in areas, like the carpet on the staircase could use an update.

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Set in attractive gardens. We had a great sea view. Staff in hotel very friendly, helpful and welcoming. Wide choice for breakfast. Nice pool area. Hotel provides shuttle service all day to town centre without charge.

Location means reliant on hotel shuttle service to get into town unless take own car. Beach bar food expensive and low quality. Staff at beach bar not friendly or welcoming unlike all other staff in hotel.

They have parking, great receptionists, beautiful decorations, amazing room, amazing view, beaches are clean, sunbeds are amazing, service at beachbed is top notch, smells good everywhere, we felt welcomed. THANK YOU!

breakfast is mostly sweets but great range and good quality, elevator is quite old but charming in his way.

Posizione ottima Struttura ampia e curata nel verde Ristorante che abbiamo usufruito la sera eccellente, abbiamo.cenato benissimo lo staff gentilissimo

Albergo vecchio e datato. Avevamo una camera buia, con puzza di umidità. Il bagno mentre fai la doccia si allaga perché non ha vetro,tendina o altro. L acqua è arrivata ovunque. Abbiamo segnalato e ci è stata pulita Piscina vecchia,in spiaggia i lettini sono veramente scomodi e datati. A pranzo poca scelta al bar della spiaggia Sinceramente non ci tornerei, spendo di più per avere meglio
