"Design is flawless, customer service + amenities could be elevated."

The most beautiful hotel I've ever stayed at. Coastal vintage modern and very comfortable. Customer experience could have been better. Staff was kind, but communication at booking and checkout were lacking. Amenities need improved for value.

Lovely facility, super clean. Service was lacking and reservations was a nightmare. Housekeeping was wonderful but for the price of this hotel, I expected a superior service experience which I didn't see. Super convenient parking but a steep price @$60/day.

This was our second stay at this property. The first time here two years ago was special, with a room on the third floor and friendly staff experience throughout our stay. This time was noticeably different under new management. Pros: great location, beach adjacent, comfortable beds, bathrobes, rooftop terrace with great views. Cons: new owners made the hotel more trendy, which translated to a higher charge for most everything. Self parking was $60, resort fee $40. We checked in as returning guests and were treated less than because of using Expedia. We were told our Expedia booking meant we got a specific type of room. That specific room type, which he would not budge on, was a first floor, smaller room staring mostly at bushes rather than the ocean. He said an “upgrade” from our Expedia rate would be $300 more. We regretted our return, as our fond memories from the first visit to the property melted away. We love Laguna Beach and will pick another property next time.

"A little masterpiece of hospitality"

The Casa Loma was an experience. We arrived at night after a long day and were completely surprised with all of the unique little touches. The location is everything you could ask for but then you are gifted with true hospitality which is an art form itself . Loved it.
