baby crying all night....thin walls

Suite was dark with one tiny window. I was honestly underwhelmed considering the price . The tub malfunctioned and was not repaired during my stay. The staff was great and I received a complimentary breakfast which was incredible.

Room and lack of light

Spa was nice & the chef is very kind and breakfast was delicious. The building itself is pretty, minus the ugly Mini Cooper that was always parked in the middle of the entrance. Ruins the aesthetic

This hotel is not a five star and shouldn’t be advertised as such. The bathroom in our room was so dated. Old, old, old. Almost missed my flight because our taxi didn’t show up. The front desk sent me to the taxi line which had hundreds of people standing in it. We’d been in the spa prior after checkout, a heads up about unavailability of taxis would’ve been nice because they knew we went to the spa to waste time. They should’ve told us to go find a taxi instead bc apparently it’s very common that taxis don’t show up. We ( two girls) had to run with our suitcases to catch an uber that I had to wait an hour for while the men at the hotel stood around shrugging about the taxi. Horrible end to the trip just as the beginning was with the booking. Certain things were fine, but I would not come back here. Hotel needs investment, our bathroom was gross and the bathtub is probably older than I am. Hotel is loud, thin walls, doors slamming all the time. Roach by the pool and in the bathtub. No turndown, no room service… this hotel is a 3-4 star at best. Booking process was a nightmare. They don’t answer the phone, the website didn’t work and I lost the perks of the free spa access since I had to use Booking. The one time they did answer, I was promised a call back and nobody called back nor answered my calls after. They apologised and still made me pay for spa even though the mistake on their end for being unresponsive. They could’ve offered the spa for free as a show of goodwill, but no. Customer service is mostly poor. You can tell it’s family run and unorganised.

The breakfast was a redeeming experience with Joseph and Andre providing outstanding service and good food.

Everything else. Room was smaller than advertised on Booking. Rooftop area is nice, but unserviced. There isnt even a phone to contact reception. No staff member was in any public area of the hotel, including the bar, reception and dining room when I went searching for a drink at 7pm on a Saturday. 5 star??? Unbelievably, a car was parked in the middle of reception, Yes- right in the middle of reception- making passage into and out of the hotel very difficult for guests.
