Comfort Inn Lafayette North I-10

My stay at this hotel was an absolute nightmare from start to finish. As soon as I walked into the room, I was hit with a foul, musty odor that made it clear cleanliness was not a priority. The stench was unbearable, as if the room hadn’t been properly cleaned in years. To make matters worse, the place was infested with roaches. They were crawling on the walls, scurrying across the floor, and even appeared in the bathroom. It was beyond disgusting. No one should have to deal with that level of filth, especially when paying for a place to sleep. Speaking of the bathroom, the water didn’t even work. No running water means no shower, no washing hands, and no flushing the toilet—absolutely unacceptable for any hotel. How can a place even operate under these conditions? This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. 0/10—stay far, far away!

This hotel was awful. Two bloody spots on the comforter, bloody spot on the bathroom door frame, pubic hair stuck to the bathroom door, and at 1am a bug crawled across my face waking me up. I have pictures of all of this. My reservation was for 2 nights, which I only stayed one because of the conditions and was still billed for 2 nights. I brought all of these things to the front desk attendant who took pictures and told me I would be contacted by the manager which hasn’t happened 4 days later.

Room was clean. Tub had stains. Bed made a funny noise when you sat in it or got in or out of it.

I believe that the beds in handicap rooms should be lower. you're asking an elderly person to jump up to get in bed. once you got a chair to get in bed, the bed was great.

The lady that prepared the breakfast was terrific. Very helpful and clean. Made sure all the items were well stocked

As soon as we walked into our room #132 we noticed the floors were extremely slippery and greasy. I used a towel to clean a small spot of the floor and when I looked at the towel it was brown. The bottoms of our feet also turned brown from whatever is on the floor. We ended up taking all the towels from our rooms and laying them on the floor to protect our feet. It’s so gross. I included a picture of some of the dirty towels… It’s hard to sleep somewhere when you don’t feel like it’s clean.

The room was good. The floor was not clean but beds were comfortable and bathroom was clean. Staff was very nice. The area the hotel is in is not the safest but I didn't feel that my two grandsons and I were in danger.

Dodgy neighborhood

Our stay was nice. Some area's of the room where missed. Looked like mildew behind the night stand close to the door. Some of the staff was so nice and pleasant.

The shower ran out of water/ran dry. The bathroom is tiny. No good place to sit, chairs had footprints on the seats
