Comfort Inn Lafayette North I-10

I checked in last night from Seattle WA. We needed a place to rest for a few hours and take a shower. The room was clean however when I went to take a shower there was no water pressure to shower. The faucet was barely dripping. When I went to check out the person and the desk said they’ve had multiple complaints and the owner would be getting back to the people who had complaints. We paid $150 for this room and I’m very disappointed that I did not receive the service that we paid for. The manager has not reached out either. Do not stay here. They may or may not have running water.

Good place to spend the night, close to the highway. Clean.

Room was clean but the water in tub dripped all night and the floors sweat when the room temperature was warm

Checking in, the lady paid in front of me with a Wells Fargo card. They charged it 4 times by the time she was done. I checked in room #133 on the first floor. The T.V. would not work, no signal ever. When you sat on the bed, the frame sounded off like a metal drum. The door would not shut unless you slammed it. The people in the hall were very loud, doors slammed all night. The fire alarm went off several times, ear piercing. I packed my bag, grabbed my dog, and met the owner in the hallway. He was trying to find the problem. The sirens came in all around the motel. It sat off the sprinkler system on the third floor and on the one side of the building. Fireman filled the building. Babies, small children, and dogs filled the lobby exit area, terrified. They were wet with towels on them. They all checked out. I was able to stay. It was quiet. I got up to a shower that had a small stream coming out of the shower head. The bed was comfortable, and the pillows were great. The breakfast bar was cleaned up by the time I got there. So you decide if you want to stay in room #133 on the first floor. The staff that I came into contact with were very, very nice.

The motel was newly opened. They had slapped some paint on the walls and reopened it. The floor was sticky. We had to be moved because we found a snake in our room. Bed was clean, staff was very friendly. Bathroom fan was very noisy. Door to each room had a 1” gap at the bottom so any hall noise came in.

The hotel appeared to be sudo remodeled. Lobby area looked brand new & our 3rd floor room did have a fresh coat of paint, new floor (no carpet), plus some new bathroom tile. Beds were comfortable & sheets were very soft. Television would stay on for a few minutes then go blank/shut off and then come back on. The old wall mounted 1500 watt hair dryer was old, dirty, had low & medium heat setting barely warm enough to achieve results AND had a broken plug end. Why make improvements and neglect to make things safer for your guests by replacing this small appliance? Shower water pressure was fine but the water barely got warm. Breakfast offerings were basic. The scrambled eggs, sausage links and waffles were okay. Definitely will not return.

Came to Lafayette with a friend to spend a couple of days. Was very pleased with the hotel that she chose. Rooms seemed newly renovated and were very clean. Breakfast featured hot items which was great. Location was great for visiting friends in Lafayette as well as getting onto the Interstate. Would stay here again.

The front desk staff was super friendly and greeted me with a smile! Gave me advice and where to find good Cajun food and printed out names and addresses for me. The rooms are very nice and the beds are super comfortable plus it was clean! Housekeeping isn’t lacking at this hotel! I will definitely tell my friends and family about this hotel for when they visit Lafayette!
