We checked in on January 1st during the holiday season, and the experience was a total failure. Upon arrival, our room lacked basic amenities: no slippers, and missing toiletries. The staff was clearly overwhelmed and failed to prepare the room properly. The most upsetting part was the baby cot. While it was provided, there was no actual baby bedding! Instead, they used a standard adult sheet folded over several times. It is hard to believe that a Marriott hotel cannot afford proper linens for infants. The hotel itself is very "tired," with outdated furniture and plumbing. Our first room had drafty windows; we had to run the heater at full power, which made the air painfully dry. We eventually moved to a room facing Rustaveli, which was warmer. The breakfast service was another major issue. The staff clearly couldn't handle the holiday occupancy. There was a constant shortage of tables, and we often had to hunt for clean cutlery ourselves. Furthermore, the breakfast is advertised as "exquisite," but it is actually quite mediocre. There was nothing premium or exquisite about it.
