Cobalt Coast Resort

This is a great location. I really enjoyed the restaurant on property and its location to the restaurants and turtle center.

There was a LOT of restaurant noise.

This was a beautiful quiet clean hidden little gem a little off the beaten path. There is also a restaurant/bar and dive shop on site! The sunsets from the balcony were picture perfect! The staff were helpful, friendly, and a joy! We will absolutely be returning in the future!

This is a resort that is a blend of Airbnb, hotel, and resort. It is positioned away from The touristy area so the vibes are very chill and low key. Poppy and Dragana were excellent. We had an issue with the hot water and loud neighbors (loud music all day) but they resolved both for us in a timely fashion. We stayed in the King bed ocean view with a big balcony on the top floor. We had plenty of space to hang out on the balcony and ate breakfast there every morning. The restaurant (Nova) was very good. Only bit of advice I would offer is double check in advance if Nova has a private event, corporate party, and/or wedding. As those events would impact your ability to enjoy a nice quiet evening at the facility. The restaurant closes and there are a lot of people present. It worked out great for us scheduling wise but if you don’t have many days there and want to relax at the resort in the evening, it could impact you. Be mindful of the dive shop. We were told snorkeling equipment was free to rent for the day due to staying on site. When we returned , we were told that we have to pay because we went off site. Hotel management took care of it for us but felt like a bait and switch situation. Hotel management is only there from 9-5 during the day but were easily available via whatsapp if something came up. We didn’t snorkel. It was calm enough to snorkel for most mornings but we had morning excursions lined up so couldn’t take advantage. Great facilities, pool, hot tub, beach beds, truffle fries, wait staff, hotel management, bed, rooms, and view. Highly recommend for people wanting to relax in something more than an Airbnb with a nice restaurant away from the tourist areas.

The Cobalt Coast Resort was a good choice. Away from the cruise ship bustle, right on the water with dock for easy access to snorkel, small beach with lounges, no sargassum, and associated with an excellent dive shop (Dive Tech) on site. Room and bathroom were comfortable, spacious, and very clean. Easy to get to from airport by taxi. On site restaurant good but didn't match my tastes. Nothing else nearby though so car or taxi service needed to get to other restaurants or grocery store. The bus service (with A/C) which covers the entire island is actually quite good with access from bus stop less than a half mile away from Cobalt. Thanks to Dragana for knowing my flight was early and having room ready when I arrived before normal check in time.

On site restaurant was somewhat trendy. One that provided more common fare would have been preferred since there are no other choices nearby.

We loved that this is an ocean front room and one of the places we dined was attached to the resort!

Very quiet, pool and bar very convenient

The beach was basically unusable for swimming, very rocky and not easily accessible

Check in and check out, was easy. The nova restaurant its inside the facilities, and its amazing food.

We had room 303 with the top middle balcony. Clean room with vaulted ceiling, plenty of storage and beautiful ocean views. Nice on-site restaurant that opens at 11am however guests can place a breakfast order by 7pm the night before for $21/pp and they will deliver it to your room in the morning. Water was too rough most days to enter by the resort pier so I definitely recommend having a rental car to go to the several nearby beaches with sand entrance like Cemetery beach and Smith’s Barcadere. Overall Cobalt Coast was a wonderful stay, a little gem away from the high tourist area. If I were to make any suggestions they would be to add a small microwave, a shelf in the shower and solar lights for the outdoor stair landings.

Just an all round amazing experience - this place is a true hidden gem, from the moment you walk in it is so picturesque and relaxing! Dragana was amazing, she could not do enough and was there to help with anything that was needed. The rooms were lovely, modern and clean. I particularly liked the little touches, robes, wine glasses, coffee machine etc - all the useful amenities. Thank you for a wonderful stay and I can’t wait to return!!
