Amazing stay! We loved everything there. Clean, new and above restaurant Nova which serves great food and drinks!

Great value, I stayed previously and the place has been totally renovated, it’s looks great now with the new Ibiza styling and the new restaurant is fantastic!I particularly enjoyed the sushi. There was a hammerhead on the dive too, how lucky was that!

This was a very last minute reservation - and turned out to be great value for the money. Dragana at the reception went way beyond in helping me settle - had a rental car reservation for me - even before I walked into the room - truly 5 Star hotel service. The ocean views - the pool - and the restaurant on property are excellent too.

Dragana at the reception was phenomenal. Not only did she find me a car rental reservation within minutes - she went above and beyond for everything - including a late checkout. Truly 5 star service. The restaurant on property is excellent too as are the ocean views. The rooms are fully renovated. Would definitely stay again.

Great hotel with brand new rooms, nice onsite restaurant and friendly staff. It’s a bit away from the action of Seven Mile so you’ll need a car to get around. Free onsite parking helps. AC and WiFi worked great. Only thing missing was a full length mirror in the bedroom and a shelf in shower for toiletries. The safe is not secured to wall/closet so we didn’t use it. Communication from check-in to housekeeping services were done via WhatsApp. I’d stay at Cobalt again. Besides Nova, our fave places to eat/drink were Tillies for meals/drinks, Bonny Moon for beach club action, Island Naturals for breakfast/brunch, Heritage for Caribbean food and Mykonos Bakery for pastries. Be ready to spend as Grand Cayman is a VERY expensive island!

We like the location and set up it was very nicely done and and the staff were very pleasant. But sleeping was difficult due to someone sliding what sounded like furniture and clunking around at really late hours of the night above us every night. Hope they finished what ever it was they were doing. A bit of a turn off was having dive training in the pool made us feel out of place to enjoy it while a class was in training. Also could use some clear do and don't as for the peer use. We were a bit confused on if we could snorkle off the peer or not but did not want to infringe on the associated scuba dive training business located on the property. The food and drinks were Good at the restaurant.

We had a relaxing week at Cobalt Coast after a very busy work travel schedule and the stress of missing flights in the holiday season . The small resort is on the coral reef area of Grand Cayman, away from the busy Seven mile beach resort area, so taxi or hire care added is recommended if you want to eat out, get groceries and go to a sandy beach or explore further. Our room was simple , modern basic furnishings and shower toilet . They will kindly arrange one change of linen during your stay if you request it. We were grateful when the aircon failed overnight, that the Manager was able to call a repair man the next afternoon to fix it. The restaurant Nova is a separate entity to the hotel but has great fish (branzino my favorite) and you can eat around the pool area, where you can also swim or practice diving certification, before going out to the dive sites. The Divetech shop is also separate entity but they use part of the building for the divers to set up - the boardwalk from hotel goes to metal steps to the sea, for the divers, and if you want to snorkel nearby you get to use the snorkelling equipment daily too. We appreciated seeing someone cleaning up in front of the hotel coral reef, where plastic trash has washed in, unfortunately this was not evident everywhere we walked closeby along the waterfront. It would be nice if paths were made to make it easier to walk or run along the beach coral front like the friendly local neighbors have done towards the cemetery - you can walk on the roads if you want too. Recommended if you like a more quiet setting - only busy when the restaurant is full and if you dive its very convenient too.
