Relais Villa Olmo - Place of Charme

We loved everything! Room was lovely and very comfortable. The pool with view was just stunning. The staff were great & always happy to assist. We also bought a premium wine & olive oil tasting + tour of the cellars. Highly recommend!

Das Frühstück war ok, aber nichts spezielles. Aber im Grunde hatte es alles, was es brauchte. Nicht mehr und nicht weniger. Die Landschaft ist ein Traum. Das Personal an der Rezeption war sehr nett und zuvorkommend.

Aufgrund der traditionellen Bauweise war das Zimmer recht dunkel, da die Fenster klein sind (und ich hatte die Junior Suite). Das fand ich schade, bei so einer tollen Aussicht auf die wunderbare Landschaft, aber das ist natürlich nicht änderbar. Beim Frühstück konnte man leider keine Eier oder sonstiges bestellen. Leider wurde das Buffet auch nicht aufgefüllt, wenn etwas fehlte. Freunde von mir mussten sehr sehr lange auf ihren Kaffee warten.

Unfortunately, breakfast was a big disappointment during our two-day stay. There was only one staff member attending to the entire breakfast service, and he was clearly overwhelmed. As a result, service was very slow. Fresh fruit was promised but never arrived, and even basic items such as coffee took a long time to be served. The staff member was doing his best, but the breakfast operation appeared understaffed and poorly organized.

Ho apprezzato molto la posizione della struttura e la cura della stessa.

Location is a bit further out from Florence but very close to nearby town Impruneta which is worth a visit. Breakfast was delicious and the staff were extremely helpful. Pool was beautiful and it was nice to have the option of doing a tasting at the vineyard on site for 30 euro per person. The staff were very knowledgeable and helped us with any questions we had.

The dinner and drinks on site were a little pricey. Also it would have been nice to have access to a gym while there. If you are relying on buses, they are close by but don't go very regularly into Florence and finish at about 7pm so it's a 60 euro taxi after that. Rooms were a little small but they got serviced daily. Could do with a little bit more storage too.

Hôtel de charme en Toscane. Literie d’excellente qualité, piscine avec vue sur les oliviers et les collines toscanes. Petit déjeuner incroyable, on peut même se faire ses propres jus et le miel est à récupérer directement du nid d’abeille… Personnel sympathique et disponible. Tout cela à une demi-heure en voiture de Florence…

Der Ausblick vom Pool und vom Restaurant ist, wie man sich es in der Toskana vorstellt. Findet man aber auch an anderen Stellen.

Leider sind wir nicht gut in unsere Toskana Rundfahrt gestartet, weil wir ein unangenehmes Gefühl hatten: es wurde in unser Auto eingebrochen. Auf Anfrage bei der Rezeption bezüglich der Kamera Bilder vom Gelände (Es sind mehrere Kameras Auf dem Gelände zu sehen) wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass die Kameras nicht funktionieren. ACHTUNG! Diese wären vom Vorbesitzer und somit nicht in Funktion. Wir hatten auch nicht das Gefühl, dass man uns besonders helfen möchte. Das Personal beim Frühstück war mehr damit beschäftigt, sich mit den Kollegen zu unterhalten, als sich um die Gäste zu kümmern. Im Großen und Ganzen muss man sagen, dass wir für den Preis pro Zimmer in der Toskana (waren bereits fünf mal auf Rundreisen in der Toskana unterwegs) bessere Unterkünfte hatten.
