The Beachview Inn Clearwater Beach

The front desk staff needs to be educated. I made the reservation under my shortened name and she questioned if the reservation was really mine. Example: Room reserved for Bill and the ID says William, I mean come on give me a break! Also the day prior to arrival it was noted the elevator was out of service (and had been) which was not noted in the description nor was it stated at the reservation time. There were not any other options available in the area making it very difficult and awkward. I would not recommend staying here and will not either...

Nice and quiet

Had a great stay! So convenient to all the restaurants and bars and shopping. The beach is literally across the street and the sunsets from our balcony were unbelievable! Would definitely stay again next time in Clearwater Beach!

What a dump! For what I paid it should be a lot nicer. It was very inconvenient to get to the beach, the place hasn't been redone since the 80s! The elevator being out was totally painful as my room was on the forth floor. Continental breakfast??? That was a lousy excuse for breakfast. I won't return!

Elevator was broken.

No elevator. Had to pack everything up stairs. Booked 2 queen but reservations changed it to 2 double beds. However, the room with balcony worked great. Could sit on balcony and see the beach, boardwalk and pool.

Never stay there again

I recently stayed at Beach View on Clearwater Beach, and honestly, it was exactly what I needed. The price was right, the location couldn’t be better—just .02 miles from Pier 60—and it sits right on the beach. I grew up on Clearwater Beach, and this place has been here forever, so there’s a bit of nostalgia too. The Good: Location is unbeatable for the price. Room 412 (a one-king suite) had a bed that was amazing 👏. Slept like a rock. Perfect spot if you’re just looking to enjoy the beach, watch the sunsets, and not break the bank. The Not-So-Good (but not deal-breakers): The property is a little dated, no surprise given its age. The family area couch in my room really needs replacing—wasn’t great. The kitchenette could use some updating. But let’s be real—if you’re cooking on vacation at Clearwater Beach, you’re doing it wrong. The local food is amazing and prices aren’t bad either. Still, if you did plan to cook, you might be disappointed. Final Thoughts: For the area and the price, you really can’t beat it for a short stay. If they invested even $1,000 into each room, this would probably be one of the best places on the beach. It’s not a 5-star resort, and if that’s what you’re expecting, this isn’t for you. But if you’re after a solid price, prime location, and some of the best views of Clearwater Beach and its sunsets, this is your spot.
