Location

room was dirty and dusty. Ceiling fan was covered in dust. Smoke alarm was hanging off the ceiling. Rust in bath/shower. Hairs and dust everywhere. Lifts were old and felt like they could break down at any point. Breakfast choice was rubbish. Cereal or fruit for continental. This was a no frills experience and not what I was expecting from Hilton. The outside of the property looked nice, however the inside was awful. They have used the best pictures of a select few rooms and spaces to promote this place. I would never stop here again. The heating did not work even after calling maintain who said that the boilers keep being turned off. Was offered a small plug in heater.

I appreciated the extended breakfast hours.

Breakfast is expensive for the quality. No special coffees, such as cappuccino. No charm whatsoever in Tavern decor.

"Good Service but a very tired facility in need of TLC and clean up!"

Nice property and the service was fine, but this facility is in poor shape and really needs a refresh and a clean-up. Very surprised still flying the Hilton flag and had a "4 diamond" plaque in the front desk area. Not quite!

"A great place to stop after a long day's drive."

The room, bed , and bathroom were excellent. The hotel is very quiet and the historical appearance is calming. The grounds are beautiful and we had a great meal in the Tavern where the service was outstanding and not very busy. A great way to relax after a long day's drive.

The only thing was one of the elevators in service that was right off the parking area seemed in need of a little attention. It was a little loud and the doors opened very slowly. The other elevator closer to our room was fine.
