Hotel Ferri

Great staff. Room simple, clean and nice. Quiet yet located on a street with many businesses. Well located to main plaza.

May not be part of Hotel Ferri but the attached restaurant was average to poor.

We were able to make a reservation while we were en route. The City of Oaxaca is FABULOUS even on Wednesday evening!

The room next door was inhabited by a young woman struggling to keep her unruly kids in line. The walls are NOT INSULATED AGAINST SOUND!

Great location in the city. Everything is within walking distance. Amazing staff, they really made us feel at home. Breakfast is amazing. At the end of the day, we would have coffee and hot chocolate. Quiet at night so we got to rest well after a full day of exploring Oaxaca.

A place to store water cool for the hot summer days was missing. A compact refrigerator would of been great to allow people to keep water stored and cool.

Rooms were booked for family during our visit. Hotel was able to meet all my preferences. Amazing and kind staff. Great location and easy to park. I really like that the restaurant and open past 6pm so enjoy some coffee and hot chocolate.

Overall, we had a good experience & the staff was friendly. The property is very nice, the room furniture needs an upgrade but the room was clean. We traveled to Oaxaca in hot/warm weather and one of the most important amenities we needed was Air Conditioning. We checked in kind of late due to our late arrival, we didn't immediately check if the AC worked, after dinner we went back to the room and discovered that the AC was not working. Staff tried to make it work, unfortunately it didn't and we slept in discomfort. The next day the hotel was able to switch our room. Another thing, the breakfast is included (which is also included in the hotel stay). The food from the restaurant was fine, but you are limited to what can be ordered with the breakfast vouchers. And finally, the hotel bill will be charged in Mexican pesos (recommend that you use a credit card that doesn't charge a foreign transaction fee), but they give you the option to pay in cash. The hotel is located a few blocks from El zócalo (city center), mercando 20 de Noviembre, mercado benito juarez, and the Artisan mercado. We felt safe walking around day and night. Prison vibe, Noisy, Window was sealed shut. Very humid and hot
