Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Bloomington-Normal Airport, IL

This is a second time staying at the property . They are currently renovating the outside But don’t let that stop you. The rooms are clean and spacious. The breakfast area is also clean with several choices for breakfast. The workout facility is better than most hotels in this price range. The check in was smooth. The staff is very good and attentive. It’s close to the Bloomington airport But don’t let That stop you. It’s very quiet

It was close to everything. We were able to get downtown and near the mall all within 10 minutes. We were able to do early check in and late check out. I liked that the windows opened but were also kind of dangerous.

The appearance. It's being renovated outside and it looked terrible and made it feel kind of gross. The mattresses were spring and probably very old. They were hard and uncomfortable. No towels in the pool area we had to ask prior to swimming and were only allowed 4 per night they said. My husband has a bad back and went to ask for a few extra pillows and was told no he couldn't have any. This was the most shocking thing, I've never heard of a hotel not being accommodating when someone requests something like this. Like NO extra pillow at all. The phone didn't work in the room and the remote kept breaking batteries falling out didn't work well either unless you shook it. I'm not sure how clean it was. The way the hotel was I wanted to check the sheets for bed bugs and did. It just felt not clean. The toilet seat was loose like you could move it massively back and forth and my husband fixed it by tightening the bolts The parking lot next door was fully lit all night. The toilet paper holder was crooked and TP kept falling off

The location was good. Breakfast ladies were very friendly

We found bugs in our room. Very dusty says there is hot tub and there is not. Also pool hours are not what is posted and that messed up our stay with our plans as well I had asked for an extra towel and all they could give me was a small pool towel.
