"Great location and wonderful staff"

Location was amazing! Close to many things and travel hubs. The staff were helpful and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay. They assisted with booking cabs and nearby recommendations. The room was clean and so comfortable after our adventurous days.

"A nice hotel in a great location but ask for a room in the main hotel!"

The hotel is in a great location, across the road from the castle and only a few minutes walk into the centre of town and nearby restaurants.

The hotel has a building next door to the main hotel. We were put in room directly above the door to that building. Every time someone entered or left the building we heard the door. We also heard everyone go up and down the stairs. The building is suitable for offices, most definitely not for hotel rooms. To top it off we had a tour bus full of young people staying in that building. They were partying and in and out of each other's rooms. I complained and the night time staff came over to ask them to quieten down. It made little difference so at 2.30am, for the first time ever when staying in a hotel (I am in my 50s), I had to move rooms. We were moved to the main hotel. The hotel provided us with a refund first thing the next morning but I expect that's because the tour manager was charged (they offered an apology on behalf of the group). Finally, the breakfast was below par. Think queue for the coffee machine & stainless steel tea pots. Not for me.
