Lovely rooms with enough space for a family of 4. Very good breakfast, seated right in front of the lagoon (fishes swim right next to you while you). Direct beach access to one of the best snorkelling lagoons on Rarotonga. Additionally, a spacious pool is also opened all day.

Nothing, would always come back.

Easy to get around to beach and all facilities. Lovely and helpful staff.

Low chairs and lack of salt shakers in dining room and difficulty getting sand off feet before entering room.

We have just returned from a 7 night trip staying at The Rarotongan. We loved every minute of it and also enjoyed their sister site the Sanctuary Resort next door, which is for adults only. We used their pool and swim up bar, it was so relaxing. Both swimming pools were very clean, as was the whole resort. The staff at both these resorts were amazing, nothing was ever too much of a problem and they alway had smiles on their faces. The food in the restaurant was great and their Island Night amazing. Although the room was a bit outdated it was very clean and it was a blessing to have the air conditioning going 24/7. The beds were very comfortable, with the bonus of a Nespresso coffee machine in our room. I would like to thank all the staff for making our holiday a truly memorable one and be rest assured we will back in the not too distant future.

I loved our honeymoon bungalow. Bonus we had our own private pool.

Most of the beach lounge chairs were broken in places.

We went to the beach resort at the beginning of the month and enjoyed our holidays there. Great location for snorkelling which is just in front of the resort. Lots of tropical fish and we were lucky to see some turtles as well. Staff were friendly and helpful from beginning to end, including the restaurant staff. A special thank you to Sudheesh who looked after us at the restaurant. Room was a bit dated but bed very comfortable. Nespresso machine provided in the room which was a bonus. Snorkelling gear, kayak and paddling provided free-of-charge. Beautiful sunset from the restaurant. There is a car/motorbike rental near the resort where we hired a motorbike for a few days. We also tried out a few restaurants nearby, including Charlie's (about 10 mins drive from the resort) which is highly recommended. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there and would be very happy to come back. KL

We stayed at The Rarotongan Beach Resort for three nights and enjoyed our stay. The resort organised different activities every day and we joined some of them. I liked the most was fish feeding and snorkelling, so much fun. Seeing the turtle was the bonus. The water was crystal clear and not too deep. Good for kids exploring marine life in the lagoon. The swimming pool was well maintained, our daughter also enjoyed her time in the pool. We stayed in Beachside Room and our room was in the second level. There was a ramp that it was easier for moving luggage. Our room was not spacious but was clean. Nespresso machine and the fridge were inside the room. They provided coffee (capsules) but no milk. We kept our room doors closed and the air conditioning was on all the time. We didn’t have issues with insects. Staff were amazing, they were helpful and had a good sense of humour. Buffet breakfast was included, lots of choices for both hot and cold food. I really like tropical fruits. I would recommend The Rarotongan Beach Resort to the family with young kids and the first time visitors.
