Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Columbus Southeast Groveport by IHG

The fact that it took me 2 hours to get into my room over 1.33 in taxes was the start of this. The 2 at the front desk was very rude and not willing to help. Complained about giving towels both nights we stayed. They didn’t come and clean my room. You really need to get some nice and friendly help in there and some clean workers. This is your job to look and smell presentable. Overall I would say even remodeling this location isn’t going to help the customer service in this establishment. I will never stay at this location again. I’ll keep driving down to the next exit.

The property is newly renovated and beautiful. Check was easy and staff was very friendly. They are located right off the highway near restaurants

The staff was good and helpful and welcoming, but was surprised that the coffee in the room wasn’t for free. They charged us for it. 😒

I recommend this hotel. It was clean and quiet. The woman who serves breakfast does an excellent job of keeping things stocked, and she keeps it all so clean. It was a good breakfast selection. The only downside was that they were under some renovations. Our room seemed to be done, maybe they were still working on others. Anyway, the back parking lot had storage pods, discarded toilets, and other materials all over so that no one could park in the back. Parking was a challenge. Also, the view out our window was a bunch of discarded toilets. When construction is done, all should be excellent.
