Ramla Bay Resort

This place was generally ok. The pool was lovely, though no toys and towels were hard to come by. The food was beyond delightful with many options but there was a dearth of water. And you have to pay extra for bottled water. There are few amenities for kids and the front desk is not very helpful. The biggest problem I had was not having services I thought were included like an airport shuttle because I booked on hotels.com. I would not generally recommend this place as well because despite its proximity to the ferry to Gozo there was very little help to get out of this remote location. I was shocked at how little help was provided. To get to the ferry I could take a taxi, a bus or walk on the highway despite it being a 15 minute walk away. Perhaps this will resolve itself when construction is finished, but generally it was not a great experience.

Amazing resort, spa, rooms, spotlessly clean, excellent customer service and excellent breakfast and dinner options with seperate restaurant and two bars. Indoor pool. Jacuzzi Spa and 3 outdoor pools

Staff were excellent - dealt with every enquiry we had in a very friendly and professional manner. Sea view rooms were absolutely beautiful. My parents received a well-deserved free upgrade on their room from a deluxe double to a panoramic suite. This resort is very child friendly. Food quality at Piatto Nero is fantastic and the staff were very accommodating of our babies!

We have stayed here on multiple occasions over the years, always a pleasant stay with no issues. The hotel is currently undergoing a major building project that is due to be completed mid 2025 and that will add a further 3 buildings to the hotel as well as more restaurants, pools and facilities. The old hotel has been demolished and all rooms are in the new building that was completed a few years ago. The staff are doing an amazing job keeping everything running smoothly and the hotel clean. Rooms are clean and high spec although the layout of some of the rooms with just a glass divide between the toilet, the shower and the main room may be a little too open plan for some. Other rooms in the hotel we have stayed in have had a separate bathroom with toilet, bath, handbasin and 2 showers. Meals are buffet style with a large assortment to choose from, the menu is varied and changes daily. If you have a sweet tooth then the selection of cakes, gateaux etc in the sweet section may leave you avoiding the bathroom scales on your return. We are looking forward to returning next year when the building work has been completed to sample the new facilities, yes the character of the old hotel is gone but the hotel overall has improved greatly.
