Courtyard by Marriott San Jose South/Morgan Hill

Pleasant, clean hotel, near a lot of retail shops and restaurants. Pool is indoor—something to note, and is not located in the main hotel. The fir pit shown in the main photograph was never discovered or was not obvious.

My wife and I held our room block at the Marriott and the staff could not have been more helpful. Melissa the manager, I believe, was unbelievably accommodating in assisting family members who needed reservations in a pinch and was very calming in light of any predicament we ran into. If you’re getting married in the Morgan Hill/ Gilroy area for a wedding, highly recommend this hotel over others.

The Courtyard was located in a great location. It was clean outside and the front desk staff were amazing. Upon our return from a Giants game, we had a cocktail in the bar which was excellent. I would highly recommend staying here.

The bed was comfortable

They did not have our room ready by 4pm and lacked communication on when it would be ready. It was a terrible experience and the staff member seemed frazzled and showed no compassion for their lack of service. Also, the walls are thin so it was not fun waking up to screaming kids in the next room. The assistant manager did acknowledge our disappointed at check out and I appreciated his service and support to make things right.

No microwaves in the rooms, this is unacceptable!

My main concern was for it to be a safe neighborhood and it was. Also, the areas really convenient because there are shopping centers and dining restaurants nearby.

The property is very nice. I liked the location and the decor.

I did not like that I paid extra for a room with a balcony. When I opened the drapes to check out the balcony it was like maybe 10 inches wide and not useful to see on. The view was terrible.
