The hotel is a beautiful historic building, the lobby is also in historic old Guangzhou style. The hotel has gym and laundry facilities for customers to use which is very thoughtful

The toilet has smell from the pipe. I have to always close the bathroom door otherwise the room smells horrible.

Great location. Great breakfast was offered, would have liked more choice of bread (Western) eg sourdough or brown instead of just processed white. Gym could have done with some free weights

Location is great directly in Shamian Island and with easy access to the great Guanzhou Metro. The hotel gives off a bit of a vibe from a long gone era which suited us, it’s otherwise a standard, convenient, slightly tired upmarket hotel.

It has a common laundry room.

The Gym is a joke. There is no equipment . Th swimming pool that they advertised is not open and locked. The hotel is old. They advertised it as a historic hotel. However, there is no historic elements at all. I expect it looks like the He Ping Hotel in Shanghai. But I am disappointed. The window is tiny. There is no view at all out side the window. Overall, I don't like this hotel.
