Travelodge by Wyndham Valleyfair Shakopee

Was a place to stay and quiet. Not the cleanest/most well maintained by any means, but it works and the staff was nice.

We literally checked in at 8:30pm and just dropped our stuff off. left for an event came back at 2:30am and the room was disgusting! Bed was broken and tipped over when we sat on it, along with human stains and hair on the INSIDE sheets!! dirt and grime on each inch of the room. Stained carpets, ac unit taped in with electrical tape, holes and stains on bathroom door - had a wad of Kleenex stuffed in one hole... and this was just the beginning - we felt completely unsafe and had to leave at 2:45am

Friendly staff. Got me in for an early check in after a long day of driving. I don't have 40 more characters. Or twelve. Three

no electrical outlets adjacent to the bed or desk to plug in battery operated device devices like phones or laptop laptops or tablets. I had to plug in my tablet next to the air conditioner and charge my phone, wireless headphones, and watch over in the bathroom area. Showerhead is about 5 feet high, meaning one has to duck to rinse off shampoo. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was available in the morning, but I did not take time to get any.

Our room smelled musty, the carpet was wet and the linoleum was sticky. The bed was not comfortable and the 2 pillows were like thin cotton. The lighting was so so dim. The bathroom was not cleaned very well.

Worst hotel I've ever stayed at. Stains on the bedding i was scared to even lay on the bed. Ran down wrost conditions ever. Looks like a old ran down apartment

Clean and nice free motel and rates are very affordable and i recommend this motel if you are looking for comfort with saving

Tldr: if you just want a place to sleep shower and use the bathroom this place is for you. If you care about cleanliness or warm water go anywhere else. I know this hotel was only 50$ a night so I shouldn't expect anything great, but here is a real review. I showed up on wendsday at 430-5pm. When I get here no one is at the desk. I can hear someone talking in a room down the hall and I try to get their attention and nothing. So I do what any normal person does and look around for a bell. Well they have a phone with a sign that says if no one is at the desk pick up phone. When I did that the phone behind the counter started to ring... then another wait and finally someone helped me. While they where helping me I was coerced into leaving a review, the manager wouldn't let me sign the paperwork untill I left a review. As I walk to my room the hallways smell like cigarettes and weed(in a no smoking hotel). Then I get to my room.... multiple holes in the walls random black stuff on the walls and red stuff on the ceiling. The floors are dirty as all hell. My socks where black after walking around the room. Then I go to take a shower and there is no hot water... so long story short I won't be back and I reccomend you spend your money anywhere else

Nice, clean room and very comfortable bed. Next time I need to find out if there's an elevator before I book a room, but I would stay here again even though there is no elevator.
