Staybridge Suites San Angelo by IHG

This trip was so great, the staff were very helpful and the location was perfect. We loved the pool and the room was exactly what we expected. We will stay here again!

The breakfast was good. They were out of alot of stuff though.

I didn't like that we were in our room visiting and someone complained multiple times about noise. We were literally just talking not loud at all just a normal tone. That was a little upsetting. You pay alot of money for a nice room and your not expected not to talk inside your room. That was a little frustrating and a little unexpected. It felt a little discriminating and seemed we were being unfairly judge by our look and skin color.

When we checked in I told them that I was going to use a different credit card. They ended up using the wrong card and put it over the limit. There is still almost as much "pending", after they charged the full amount for the room.

No A/C in room 102 then they tried to get me to stay for free after being out in the sun all day at baseball tournament then Kelly said they would pay for my families room at a different hotel for all the trouble and when I got to other hotel that he called and set up for me I had to pay out of pocket

It was a really good stay! The staff were extremely friendly and very accommodating. They didnt know it was my birthday until it was mentioned. They gave us each a complimentary bottle of water & soda, a bag of chips, and a candy bar. The hot tub and pool were very clean and accessible. The beds seemed comfortable, but i think need to be upgraded to memory foam. Other than that, amazing stay and a memorable birthday.

Location was fine. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

AC never worked during our entire 2 day stay. Temp stayed at 85 degrees. I was sweating and had massive headaches. I called the front desk. They said they’d check it out. We left for a softball game. Called the hotel to check the status and was told maintainence restarted breakers and that the room was cooling off. Got back to the room about 7pm and room was at 78 degrees. Called back to front desk. Said he would come up and see. He restarted a breaker and it began to cool off. It did, but for only about an hour, then I would manually have to reset the electrical breakers myself. It was very inconvenient and uncomfortable. I did not expect to get heat exhaustion in a hotel room. Employee said he would try to get me a discounted rate for the trouble but that never happened.
