Please note that for security purpose all Indian guests are required to present a valid photo ID proof (Voter's ID, Driving License, Aadhar Card, any other ID with address approved by the Government of India. A Pan Card is not acceptable). All international guests are required to present a valid passport and visa. For Indian guests, cash settlements of INR 25000 and above will require a pan card copy during check out. When booking more than 5 rooms , the same will be considered as group booking and the Hotels Terms and Conditions for the group booking will apply. Breakfast for children above the age of 5 years will be on additional charges. The same is not included in the room rate . We regret to inform you that the Club Lounge at Taj Bengal is currently undergoing renovation. As a result, the lounge will be temporarily closed until further notice. However, we have made alternative arrangements for our guests to avail themselves of the Taj Club facilities at suitable venue during this period. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. We didn't have time to use the many facilities but the most important thing was that the hotel was able to arrange for a doctor to come and see my father who wasn't feeling well and the prescription medicine was supplied to us via the staff (i didn't have to go and look for it). To me, that was the most important thing about my time at the Taj.

Perfect stay. The facilities are fantastic, staff are so helpful and attentive, food is great, very clean and rooms are nice. Overall very happy and would highly recommend to anyone staying in Kolkata. Special shoutout to Ishika - such a nice lady and was always a pleasure seeing her in the mornings.

Excellent breakfast. They had an extensive menu to cater to both western and Indian palates. Staff was extremely attentive wherever we went. Compliments to the housekeeping staff as well.

It wasn't a big issue but our key card didn't function well all the time. The staff at the reception were very helpful and fixed this every time.
