North Bay At Lake Arrowhead

New carper but lots of broken furniture, fridge, and blinds. Definitely dated. Stayed a time of year when pollen was very bad and weather was in the low 80s. This unit had central heater but no AC. AC would have made the stay more tolerable for some of us who had allergies. We left early. One sofa bed had missing springs where the mattress would fall through.

I loved my weekend here. Everything is clean and in great working order, there is lots of room, the bed was comfortable, and laundry is accessible. I went on a very hot weekend and only had one fan, so the main downside is that it was extremely hot inside. For people who can look beyond the older decor, I highly recommend North Bay at Lake Arrowhead!

Place needs updating. Got a text 2 days before that pool and courts were closed no access to lake arrowhead. No good restaurants in area. You must live up there to to use anything. Place needs an update. No pool and No courts.

I'm an owner and will no longer use the property. There are NO amenities and the rooms have not been updated in many many years. There is nothing to do on the property. Lake Arrowhead is beautiful but you will need to go into the village.

Our recent stay with North Bay was wonderful. The check in was simple. They sent the cabin # and code. There was a kitchen, living room with fireplace, bedroom with a firm comfy bed. A bathtub and separate dressing room. Also a large deck with beautiful forest views. The place was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great time there and felt right at home. You won't be sorry to try North Bay at Lake Arrowhead.

The rooms are dated but clean. There are NO amenities except a gas grill at the “resort”. The homeowners association took over the pool and club house so there is no access for RCI guests. There is nothing to do here, luckily it is located in a beautiful area.

The location is in a beautiful setting, minutes from Jensens Market, shopping and eating. There was still a nit of snow and it was a fun experience. If you are seeking tranquility and a spacious living environment for the week, then this is the perfect getaway. The only noise I heard on my walks on the property were chirping birds. The complex is in a gated community and the townhome units are surrounded by huge pine trees. It is an excellent value and the property is very close lake which is across the highway.

This property has seen better days. The front desk staff are friendly, helpful and accommodating but the property has been neglected. For the price, the suite size is good. We were in Arrowhead for an April 1 wedding. This was after several snowstorms and the area being smothered in deep drifts of snow with the main road to Arrowhead village closed between Bluejay and the Village. Entering the building we were met with dripping water from all above the entrance to the building so without an umbrella (which we didn't have) you got wet with very cold water every time you went in or out of the building. This was just the grand entrance as it was cold in the room. The management set the temperature at 66 with a permanent plaque on the wall that says " thermostat is set for your comfort, do not adjust the setting". Sorry 66 is too cold for folks from SoCal in the winter when it is in the 30's outside and how do they know what makes us comfortable? We adjusted the thermostat higher anyway. I found this institutional mentality on the part of management pretty ridiculous but it explained the overall lack of consideration for the guests. Sleeping was very difficult and we both slept poorly, woke up early and left asap. The heating system doesn't work properly and varies 2 to 3 degrees above and below the set temperature. We went from too hot and kicking the covers off to too cold and covering up. Over and over all night. The room décor is outdated and in poor repair. The lightbulbs in the front room were very dim and the ceiling lamp didn't work. Plumbing fixtures are decades outdated and deteriorated. Worst of all, the bedroom faces the parking lot and walkway. The bedroom blinds were old and damaged. One set of blinds lacked the cord to raise and lower them and was stuck partially open. The other blinds were damaged with some slats completely gone and others partially broken and missing. So we basically had zero privacy and anyone walking by can see directly into the bedroom! The blinds were also very cheap thin plastic that didn't block the light. The exterior lighting was extremely bright prison style with bare unshaded bulbs and shone directly into the bedroom windows. It was so bright that I could almost read in the bedroom with the interior lights off. My solution was to put the kitchen trashcan over the light fixture outside our room and use a towel to block the other window. Overall I would never stay here again.
