Hotel Kilkenny

Das Frühstück war sehr gut und die Lage war ausgezeichnet. Wir haben das Hotel als Ausgangspunkt für eine Rundreise durch Irland gewählt. Dafür war es optimal.

The room was very outdated and need of repairs. The tiles in the bathroom need caulking, old hairdryer from the 1960s, the carpet was stained and appeared dirty, cobwebs on the windows when opened, not enough outlets (none by the beds), and I can go on. I would not even say this is a 3 star hotel. It was probably the worst I ever stayed at. The room size was big, but that was it

De ligging was super: slechts 15 minuten lopen van het historische centrum.

Als Hollanders hadden we graag wat afgebakken brood met verschillend beleg gehad, zoals kaas en ham. Ik moest twee dagen vragen om een beetje jam op de toastjes.

Breakfast was very good. Great choice and very good quality

Direkt ein Schwimmbad und Fitnessstudio dabei. Das Frühstück hatte eine gute Auswahl und auch das Restaurant war preislich okay.

Man braucht ein Auto um in die Stadt zu gelangen.

Amazing hotel. Staff were so lovely and accommodating. Facilities great and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Not necessarily a negative but the only thing is the hotel was slightly out of town and a good 30 min walk to the good pubs etc, but this was also a positive as it was nice and quiet round the hotel area.
