The property was in a good location. The hosts were very helpful and they had both a continental breakfast and happy hour that was incredible.

Booked this place based on reviews...wanted quiet and adults only. We arrived super early and our room wasn't ready. No big deal at all, Cary let me change into cooler clothes in the office bathroom and rented us bikes! We set out for lunch and within an hour and a half got the call our room was ready. Headed back and was surprised with a fruit/chocolate basket and the sweetest card signed by all the staff for our 25th Anniversary :) Room was ridiculously clean with some kicking AC! The bathrobes are so good I literally bought one to take home! Happy hour kicks off each day at 5, and you get one free beverage along with some tasty snacks. The included breakfast each morning was more than enough to fuel us through our day. Pool area was always clean and never crowded when we were there. Every single staff member we encountered was super friendly and helpful, always ready with a joke or a dinner recommendation. Location of the Almond Tree is perfect, you are steps away from Duval Street but you'd never know it as it's so quiet. Shout out to every single staff member that worked the week of May 18th-23rd, you all are amazing and don't ever lose that! We will for sure be back!

We arrived for 2 nights in May, 2026 and were greeted by Cary, one of the friendliest people I've ever met! He and Jack made our stay comfortable and always checked to make sure we were having fun, had enough to eat and drink and offered some local sights to see as well. Breakfast and happy hour were awesome and the rooms are clean, updated and fresh. You could stay at the Almond Tree Inn all day or walk around to Duvall St (only a block away)-close to everything but a hidden gem of an Inn tucked into the lush gardens of Key West. Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else for our next visit! Thx!!

Service was fantastic. From welcoming to leaving, the staff smiled, listened and accommodated. Hotel property close to the action yet feels like a secluded, quiet and beautiful compound. Hotel has old Florida charm on the outside yet the rooms feel modern and decorated to an upscale feel. Free breakfast, one free drink at happy hour, soaking in the pool or hot-tub. Perfect. Highly recommend. Special thanks to Rodolfo and the staff for making it a great birthday week.

We stayed at The Almond Tree for my birthday May 14-17 and loved everything about it!! Wonderful desk staff and friendly grounds staff. Room was beautiful and near the lovely pool. Daily breakfast spread was ample and varied. Also, we loved the daily happy hour snacks and free drink provided. They went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. Will definitely return to The Almond Tree in the future😍

Loved the staff, super friendly and inviting. They were willing to help out the best they could with any request! Also loved that your first drink during happy hour was free. The sangria they made for happy hour was amazing! The room was very nice. Spacious even for the four people we had in the room during my stay! Shower and toilet were separated by a sliding door from the counter area with the sink and mirror. This was nice because if someone was showering you could pull the sliding door and be able to get ready at the mirror. They also put a container of ice water out by the pool area so that when you are out by the pool you don’t have to take a water bottle. You can just walk up to the container of water and pour yourself a cup. You could also fill your bottle with water as my mom did a few times when we were out by the pool. Lastly the location is great! You are barely half a block off Duval Street and the hotel lies on Truman Avenue (aka US 1) which are both the main roads in key west. We were able to get to almost every breakfast spot in 15 minutes, walking from the hotel.

I did not necessarily care for the options they had during the free continental breakfast which was included in the stay. We checked it out on our first day because we were hoping to eat breakfast there but I fear we would have been hungry even before lunchtime. They had many great options for bakery items like banana bread and other pastries which were tasty, but nothing with much substance or protein to it like eggs and bacon. Although the happy hour sangria was delicious, I wish their happy hour was at a different time. The happy hour is scheduled from 5-7 which is the time my family jetted off to dinner every night. This made it tough to enjoy happy hour to the fullest extent. I found myself taking a cup of sangria to go because we would pass happy hour on our way out to dinner and by the time we got back, it was over. As for the room, the one side of the sliding door to the bathroom was broken and didn’t open and close correctly. The only other critique for the room is that we stayed in a room under the staircase to the second floor and each room had its own little porch area. Unfortunately ours was a bit secluded by the staircase and that also made it stuffy since there was barely any airflow. I noticed other porches had fans on them which would have been very helpful on our porch.

We had a great time in KW staying at the Almond Tree. It’s located just a short walk from many of the sites and far enough from the busy end of Duval to be relaxing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast is enough to get you ready for a day sightseeing and happy hour to pre-game for dinner or bar hopping Duval. We’d definitely recommend the Almond Tree for your KW visit.
