Gullwing by Distinctive Beach Rentals

I love that the pool was right beside the ocean. The 2 bathrooms were amazing, with rain shower heads. The design of the condo was excellent. I used the balcony all the time. The only issue was the construction noise... it was really loud on the balcony all day long.

Master bathroom toilet kept running every 5 mins. Carpet runner on faux wood floors moved when stepped on. I almost fell because it was slippery on the floor. They need a rubber mat underneath.

Place was really nice, area still being rebuild, traffic kind of a bitch. beach right now was awesome. not busy. semi privet. easy to get in restaurants. couple good bars on the walk. will probably be awesome in a few years, but if looking for low key vacation, now is the time before all is finished rebuilding. Also, just down the street to the south before the bridge there is an yacht club being rebuilt with a beach you can walk to where we saw dozens of dolphins swimming around right in front of us. Also saw alligators at a wildlife santuary. Really was a great time

Frozen bag of trash was in the freezer, a hair ball in the shower, no extra pillow cases (to go with the extra pillows), no beach towels, mold on fridge shelf, dim lights in the shower, low water pressure in shower, balcony doors to bedrooms were barricaded with wood (should have been noted in booking), booking stated there were restaurants in walking distance but there weren’t (due to hurricane damage but description was not updated), staff took a long time to respond to our concerns. Also beach chairs were rusted and cheap and super small (like for kids). The WiFi password in the instructions weren’t correct and the door lock stuck every-time. I’d never rent from here again and would like money back. Horrible

Fantastic room. 2 great bedrooms and 3 eating areas Very good kitchen appliances. Just sad due to hurricane destruction. Publix grocery open but little else. Still good for us to support the recovery by the properties that are open.

Check restaurants in the area to make sure their hours of operations are still the same. Some businesses close earlier than advertised but also show grace as the area is still recovering.
