First trip to CO to do some hiking in Breckenridge in Mid-October. Most of the aspen leaves had fallen but the mountains still were gorgeous, and snow covered. Used our points to stay at this Marriott resort which was a short walk to main street. Ski season starts 11/15 so we were 3 weeks away from the chaos the in-season brings, and we loved it! Never had to wait for any table, town not crowded, bikes were available everywhere. Will definitely go in OCT again. The resort was recently renovated and gorgeous. Very comfortable bedding (memory foam) and the staff were super nice!! Everything I would except from Marriott. There is a small grocery store within walking distance and a very large supermarket 1.5miles away. This was our first time to CO and what I learned is that it's tough on the nose! Saline spray is a must! (The dryness woke us up at night and we actually experienced mild nose bleeds.) The altitude did not bother us too much except on a 10 mile bike ride on a very nice path from Breckenridge to Frisco (also recommend this great, little town). We also drove up to Vail Village and spent the day shopping, about 45 min north. Recommend the Burro Trail (we ran into 2 moose!), Sawmill Creek Trail, and visit the 15 ft wooden Troll on a short hiking path that starts at the ice rink.

Their laundry services were not working during our stay. We had to go to another building to get our laundry done, very inconvenient.

Spacious room in quiet resort setting. We had our bikes and rode from our location throughout the town. There was also a pretty hiking trail 100 yards from our room that was nice for an evening stroll.
