Lack of adequate lighting. Felt well worn & outdated and not up to the standards I have experienced in most other of the Holiday Inn Express that I've stayed in.

I stayed for a single night. Check in was great, quick, and the staff was attentive, friendly and professional. As a whole, my room was very clean and comfortable. I did have a couple of issues tho; one that the mini fridge in my room seemed to have failed that evening. I noticed a wet spot on the floor and realized the freezer was thawing out and leaking out the fridge door. I notified the front desk and slipped a towel under it to minimize any damage. My second issue was a VERY noisy neighbor but that was is something I don’t blame the hotel for. The exterior was sketchy in regards to how the neighborhood is being maintained by the City of Stockton, but the actual hotel grounds are very well kept up and secure. I would stay here again if I needed to.

It was clean! Staff was kind and quick.

It was pretty noisy... but I did go to bed very early. I did not like the smell. Maybe it was enzymes for the carpet or something but it irritated my lungs. It was very spendy for 2 small dogs, in my opinion. An extra $100 bill for less that 24 hours... made my stay at about $250... that's pretty steep.
