Motel 6 Portland, OR - Downtown

You get what you pay for. My partner and I only settled for this hotel because of how close it is to the climate pledge. It was a 7 minute walk. The actual hotel itself was not good. We ended up door dashing some towels, sheets/comforter, and air freshener. The towels were dirty, they had red hard sticky stuff on it! Like food or I don’t know what it was but I was not about to use those towels. The bed sheets had cigar holes on it and reeked of smoke. The whole room smelled like cigar smoke even though it was a non-smoking room. I would not stay there again but if you decide to because it’s affordable and close to climate pledge, I recommend taking your own sheets, towels, and air freshener.

This was the most disgusting, filthy hotel I have ever experienced. They lost my reservation for two rooms (made 7 months before!), during a huge event weekend. My family was forced to share a room with double beds. The sheets were filthy, there were ants and gnats all over, the fire alarm was missing, Wi-Fi didn’t work, I can keep going. We were afraid to touch anything & slept in our clothes because everything was so gross and dirty. I’ve been coming to this particular pace for a few years and I guess we stayed in a newer section before, because I’ve never experienced such poor service and filth here before. I will never stay here again.

Absolutely disgusting and disappointed. You would have to pay me to stay. Comforter had burn holes in it. Mysterious substances on wall and mirror. Table almost fell over when setting bag on it. Room smelled of cigarettes eventhough it states "non-smoking" room did not have microwave or mini-fridge as advertised. When asked employee she said there was nothing she could do other then offer refund. We got a refund and left.

Very convenient to convention center and dining options. WiFi is weak. Decent budget option.

Way too much outside noise and ruckus.

It's a Motel 6 so you get what you get for the price. Wouldn't recommend staying for more than 1 night. This is just a place to sleep and nothing more.

Location is convenient. This is very close to the oregon convention center. The room is what we can expect from a motel6. Note that while the description said there are fridge and microwave, it actually doesn't have fridge and microwave in the room. Previous reviews complained about noise on the street. To me, noise is not a problem. In fact, I believe all lodgings in the area are noisy due to the tram service but it is not that bad.

It’s noisy there, so I had a hard time sleeping. The manager was a grumpy when I got there, but fine when I left.

No fridge, no micro, one towel, washcloth and hand towel! Bed covering stained with burn holes, two pillows, no dresser, one nightstand, no breakfast. Asked for.extra blanket. And told there was no extra blankets, just turn up the heat, he said! Noise was terrible and constant!!

There are genuine safety concerns here, The doorframe to the bathroom was broken, the fire alarm is non existent, There are weird stains in the bedsheets, And overall doesn't feel safe to be in this room, I won't be coming back probably ever again, If I could rate lower I would, -5 out of 5 stars
