Motel 6 Portland, OR - Downtown

The location was convenient and not expensive

Very run down. Smoke detector off wall and on a shelf under the TV. There was no main light in the room and it was missing a light bulb on one of the lights by the beds so the only light in the room was one nightstand light. There was the broken bathroom fan, broken door lock, stained comforter, no refrigerator or micro that was listed during booking. Manager was friendly and nice but the room was terrible.

Please do not stay here! Rooms are filthy. Bedspread had what looked like blood on it. Nonsmoking room reared like old cigarettes and burn holes in bedding. Got in late at night all other hotels in the area fully booked thankfully had extra blankets in the car (if it was an option to get another hotel we would have left immediately) we left in the morning was supposed to be there for two nights.

Barren jail cell type room, wifi didnt work, plumbing didnt work, first room was dirty with used condoms around it.

I made the fatal mistake of not reading the reviews, if I had I would have definitely not booked. • The room was filthy, the floor and all surrounding surfaces had not been cleaned in some time. • The sheets were dirty with chunks of hair amongst the sheets. • The wifi did not work. • The television did not work. • broken sockets. • Safety latch on the door was broken. • There was no cleaning or changing of the towels done in the 4 days I was there, to get a change of towels took a day and I had to go looking for a staff member to make the exchange in the car park for a new set. • The staff were very unhelpful and rude. • The area the Motel was in was convenient for the concert hall but I felt unsafe with all the drug users and prostitutes around the motel. I would definitely not recommend this Motel 6, for a few Dollars more you will get a far better place. I would reconsider using any Motel 6 again.

Stay was July 25th…was not allowed into office to register (5 pm)…nearly passed out in 100+ degree weather. Room filthy, bugs, cigarette burns in bedding, broken fixtures/damaged walls and intermittent wifi. No ice, no morning coffee service…this was the 5th stay in the 3rd Motel 6 in 9 days…the others were delightful. This was more expensive amid disgusting conditions. If I could have rated it less then one star I would have. Pay a little extra and stay somewhere decent.

Room 112 - How do you lose a reservation made 20 days prior - This motel did, even with evidence of reservation, the front desk refused to honor it - Front desk difficult to work with -Took 20 minutes talking back and forth with corporate customer service, for a room to be provided - Room smelt heavily of tobacco - lack of towels & face cloths - No power to bedside lights - No microwave or fridge as reserved - No place to hang your clothes - Good location / Bad management - No ice machine, no washer/dryer or vending machine - WIFI spotty -

We didn’t expect much. Just staying for a night to go to a concert down the street. So location? Sure, one star for that. Otherwise, would have given none. Pics say most of it. Literal graffiti on the lampshades. Blood stain on the comforter? Stains on the pillowcases. Exposed wiring. And a weed wackier/tree trimmer outside the window at 9 a.m. Seriously, don’t stay here. Yuck.

There were no pillowcases, towels, or soap in the room. A meth addict was hanging out in the parking lot asking for money. People were constantly going in and out of the room above us until 3am. Sheets were dirty. This was a nightmare.

The man at counter was very helpful and friendly. Enjoyed the stay and the price. Very affordable and also close to everything you need which is a plus. The room was also extremely comfy and quite nice.
