Days Inn by Wyndham Dumfries Quantico

The service and room conditions is horrible at this hotel on Dumfries road (Route 234) in Dumfries VA. The room was freezing and there was no heat in the room. They switched the room, and there was NO heat either. The Franchisee always cut corners to save money and NEGLET service and comfort aspects. Who in the right mind torn off the heat in freezing temperatures in all rooms??!!!!! STAY AWAY from this hotel.

Was clean, and reasonable price.

Room not equipped with phone, clock, cups, or coffee maker. The kleenex box wá empty. At checkout was told Days Inn no longer supply coffee/tea for the room. Booking.com needs to make sure the description on the app reflects what the accommodation actually has.

Stayed here in March for the 17.75 Race. Dirty, small rooms, small towels, felt unsafe, and the bathroom door was literally stapled together. They also tow cars away when people park in their barely used lot to go the restaurant next door. I will NEVER stay here again. Several other hotels are in the same location and provide better service and facilities.

The heater didn’t work and maintenance was not able to come fix it during the night. I am now sneezing and coughing from being in a cold room and could barely sleep. Worst experience ever. If it wasn’t so cold outside I would’ve slept in my car with the heat on.

The bed was comfortable

There was a strong smell of cigarette on the no smoking floor. The corridor was very dirty and smelly. The were insects and crawlies in bath and bathroom floor. Overall, very bad experience.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean

Peeling paint on doors. Rm 237 didn't lock from inside and quest didn't sleep well that night. When entering the room door didn't automatically close behind you. Guest had to physically close the door. I visited this room twice and had to tell elderly guest their door was open. Wobbly refrigerator in room 234. Became very paranoid of the no trespassing signs around bldg. Renovation and improvement needed to bring it just to fair or good.

This place is disgusting. The bathrooms have no hooks or rails; no rack to hang clothes; the shower has to be yanked; the tub doesn't drain; the iron & hair drier are gross - have never been cleaned; the entrance door & foyer to the 2nd floor are cracked, dirty & old; the hall carpet needs to be replaced. Nothing to recommend this hotel - there are cockroahes all over.
