The best location for a weekend stay. The hotel has a great feel to it.

The location is perfect for visiting the chateau and the lovely boardwalk looking out at the river. There is a little park across the road which at the time I went had a music festival. I don't know about other rooms but mine was nothing to write home about. The bed was comfy so that was good. The wardrobe, when I found it was tucked in a corner and was unusable as it had the luggage rack and iron stored in there. The safe was on a shelf so high up I couldn't use that either. Carpet by the door needed a good clean. View from window was the inside light well with other hotel room windows directly opposite so I kept the curtain drawn. I was offered a different room for a payment of $80 per night so decided to stay. The bathroom was lovely and seems to have been newly upgraded. I did have breakfast here and was not impressed. The menu is set so you have what's on it and can't mix and match anything which if you don't like eggs is a problem. So again not impressed. Oh and I should mention the funicular that will take you from the top of the hill to the old town at the bottom. Nice place to visit.
