"Not my favorite experience at a Holiday Inn expres"

Friendly staff at check in. There were small black ants around the room and on all counter tops, luckily we didn't have any food that needed to be brought into the room. If we had to spend any amount of time (other than sleeping) I would have changed hotels.

The room had a bad smell. I informed the front desk they came and sprayed, but the room still had a bad smell. One of the beds in the room had stained sheets and blanket. The breakfast was okay. The pool was good. Nice for a short stay.

"A downright pleasant stay"

So we pulled in with a decent sized bus and trailer. The night clerk came out and helped us find a nice safe place to park. Ended up chatting with the hotel crew for a while. Really nice people over there. The rooms, lobby, and all throughout are really clean. Breakfast was exceptionally good for a chain joint. There’s a bunch of hotels in that district but you should probably stay here.

The staff were great and our room was clean amd quite a bit more spaciois than we anticipated. However, the building is showing its age. There were holes in interior doors in our room and no hanging bars to hang things in in closeted areas. If we were staying for longer than one night, I would have complained. Bit for one night, it was fine and we had a good trip.
