This was our 3rd time staying at D. Hotel Suites & Spa. This time was for a college visit to Smith with our daughter (1st two stays were for a drop off and pick up for a summer camp at Smith). Jim was great during our stay this time and a great help.

The only thing that I don’t like about the property is that the exercise room doesn’t open until 8 a.m. (a room is right next to it). It would be great to work out earlier in the morning. However, I love having a clean, quiet and safe place to stay while in Holyoke, MA.

Beautiful facility. Extremely clean and very helpful warm staff. Ten minutes drive time to all kinds of restaurants, grocery stores, Walgreens. The restaurant is a bit pricey but the food is very tasty. My room had a full sized refrigerator, toaster, stovetop and microwave, coffee machine, fireplace, TV, sofa, dining table, chairs, real closet.. This hotel also has an exercise room, pool, hot tub, complimentary breakfast.

The front door has push button handicapped access but I wish it opened automatically as you approach. It's a little awkward to navigate a luggage trolley through. Laundry is two dollars and fifty cents to wash and one dollar to dry but requires coins which can be obtained at the front desk one flight down. There is only one washing machine and one dryer. The bed was too firm for me.

I loved the New England charm of this place. Great value and staff were beyond friendly! Definitely eat at the restaurant next door.
