SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Auburn

The vibe was unique, We really enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to coming back and staying again.. the bed and room were the most comfortable.

I mean could have been tidier but overall I have stayed in worse.

Formerly the Auburn Inn. Our very first encounter with a Sure Stay did not leave a good impression, but this property is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. It has been 4 years since my last visit to this property, and it is as well-kept now as it was on my first visit. The country style building has 2 screened in porches, 1 to each side of the entrance with rocking chairs to enjoy an afternoon of relaxation. Gorgeous woodwork is well maintained throughout, making for a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor throughout is reminiscent of a bygone era. The large lobby offers a comfortable sitting area for groups to gather and plan their day or share their adventures, and checkers to pass the time. The front desk staff is very welcoming and courteous. There is no elevator, so I had requested a ground floor room. The only ones available when we checked in were handicapped accessible, which was fine. Our room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed and clean linens, microwave and mini 'fridge. Plenty of hot water for the shower, pressure and drainage was good. We didn't make it for breakfast, but it looks like it would be the standard items. The fitness room has limited equipment. Both times I've been here have been in Nov., so I cannot comment on the pool. There is a small patio outside the breakfast/pool area to enjoy a nice day. Plenty of free parking with shopping and restaurants not far away. No sketchy strangers, no lingering odors, no multi-legged creepy crawlers. It's a clean, quaint hotel that makes you feel welcome and comfortable as soon as you walk in.

Clean facility, including the breakfast area. Standard contental breakfast. Good location. Good rate. Friendly staff.

Room was a little musty smelling, but clean.

Great hotel. Beds comfortable, staff welcoming, breakfast was great. Really pleased with everything. There are steps up to the front entrance which may be an issue for some, or if you have a lot of luggage. There is a sign saying if you need help to ask.

A very nice motel located near our desired destination. The room was clean and appropriately furnished, and we had a comfortable night's sleep.
