The property in a whole was fine clean and the rooms where good

I had booked this hotel for my daughters birthday and at 9 o’clock I was told they where being to loud which was them talking to each other I then was told if it didn’t stop I would have to leave which was a disgrace for a manager member of staff to speak to guests like that , now I understand other people are in the hotel but at 9 o’clock to be told this is a bit of a joke people use hotels for loads of different reason ie birthdays , hens , stacks ect…. But you can’t enjoy what your there for because you have to be quiet I would understand if this was even 11-12 at night but 9 o’clock I was in shock with this also one of my rooms was a joining room which the door wasn’t locked and I could enter the room next to me where there was other guests using it now I had young girls in that room so this was unsafe and not exceptable but the manger didn’t even care of there mistake and when he came to resolve the situation he was there for 20 minutes trying to find the key which locked it he didn’t have a clue as a manager and was very rude , also in the swimming the staff member was very rude and cheeky and was trying to tell us to leave 20 minutes for closing to me it was because he wanted to leave early from work so when I said no he then starting being cheeky and it became an argument almost which again I was shocked at and the manager couldn’t even deal with that either allowing the member of staff to shout at him and tell him what to do , definitely will not be back which is a shame because it is a nice hotel and I will be taking this further

Friendly staff, very clean. Quiet location. Comfy beds and pillows

Breakfast was just ok. Not a massive selection. No slippers or robes provided for pool use.

Real let down re spa facilities. Booked hotel to be able to utilise facilities, only to find sub beds could only be in line along side pool (so could not chat) and there were at least 5 swimming lessons per hour of small children who obviously splashed us. I asked when last lesson was - all day until 6. This is a good hotel but don’t book if expecting it to be a spa hotel. Did speak to manager. Not helpful. Also. A card is expected to be authorised on check in. Don’t presume this is to charge to your room - it’s for damages (not told this) I tried to order a snack after leaving the “spa” with only a book in my hand and room info - nope. Cannot charge to a room in hotel!

The area is like a slum. Especially in the early hours of the morning.

The pool leisure facilities are good and the staff are friendly and helpful, but that's it.

It was well overpriced for a very average breakfast offer, a very limited cafe/restaurant and the rooms were worn and very plain. The TV offerings were pathetic.
