The Royal Sea Aquarium Resort

Very enjoy it

Unique property, good overall location on the island. Has his own beach, upscale restaurant, in a very nice poor patio overlooking the ocean. Staff was very professional, could’ve been a bit more guidance about where to park but once we figure that out, everything was great.

A high end immaculate property with lots of loungers and lovely staff who speak many languages. we had a suite with kitchen, living room, separate bedroom with king bed, and a double wide balcony with 2 loungers and a dining table for 4, and a drying rack for damp swimwear. We added in breakfast at the restaurant every morning. we used the hotel shuttle to go grocery shopping and also downtown on different days. There is a little bit of snorkling in the channel, nothing to compare with the great natural coral reefs in Playa Lagun and other beaches on the north west coast. This property is right beside the sea aquarium so that is easy access for a few hours entertainment.

This property was perfect for our group of 5 families with kids. We all got our own spaces when we needed a break from each other, but the pool and beach ares were ideal for getting to spend time together in between other activities in Curacao

We are a family of 4 so a regular hotel room just won't do! We booked the 1 bedroom villa. The kids stayed in the Murphy beds in the living room. We had a full kitchen, not that I was cooking or cleaning this week but it was nice to have. Table that sat 6 inside, HUGE bathroom area and good size bedroom. It was perfect for 4 of us. The balcony was huge! table and chairs plus 2 lounge chairs, I basically lived out there all week reading my book. Our room overlooked the sea aquarium so I also watched the dolphins swim in the morning. The front desk staff was great and a special shout out to the security guard we me on our first day that was great! I missed her name. Also another shout out to our breakfast server, I loved seeing her in the mornings. Lots of pool areas to hang, it was mostly quiet not a rowdy hotel at all like some of the others. Just a wonder stay all around.

We really liked the area the resort was in. The resort itself was nice and quiet, but getting shopping/restaurants/entertainment was easily walkable. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The private beach was small, but in a great spot to rest, swim, snorkel or just float. The pool area isn’t huge, but there’s plenty of space to play or relax. The suite we stayed in a fabulous view and was very comfortable for the three of us. We would definitely stay here again.

Awesome experience

I liked that this hotel was walking distance to Mambo beach. I liked how quiet and how it had its own private beach. I didn’t like how I was on the first floor traveling as a solo female traveler. I requested for them to change the room which they couldn’t accommodate. So I had to make sure I took extra precautions to feel safe and comfortable but I still enjoyed my stay.

Upon arrival we encountered a receptionist in training so she was not clear on a few things. The room was clean and the AC was top knotch. However, they did not clean the room daily and when we complained. There was no explanation by the experienced receptionist. The shuttle bus fulls up quickly and they did not exaplain that either. When we tried to extend they said it had to be done 24 hours prior when they knew our room missed a cleaning. Not very service oriented or pleasing of the client. Olas and Copas the restaurant on premise was the best part of the hotel. Great food.

We had a wonderful stay at the Aquarium Resort! It was our first vacation as a family. We have a 10 month old and this resort was perfect for us. There was never an issue getting chairs with shade, and other guests mostly followed the rule of not saving chairs all day and not being there. The staff were always cleaning the grounds, maintaining the beautiful gardens, and organizing resort events. The pools were maintained and the beach was cleaned each morning, the swimming and snorkeling was beautiful. We rented a car for 3 days and they arranged this for us. It was super convenient. We explored other beaches, but felt most at home and comfortable at the resort! We had the suite style with kitchen, living room and bedroom. Which was perfect for nap times! The restaurant at the resort (although not technically a part of the resort) had plenty of options (vegetarian, too!) we ate there multiple times. You can even order drinks/food to enjoy on the beach. We wished we stayed longer but hopefully we will be back one day! Thanks to everyone at the resort for making our vacation enjoyable!
