We were welcomed by Marianne after the normal check in time. She was absolutely amazing. We had a car rental situation (no car thanks to Expedia) and both Marianne & Dee made me feel better about our stay explaining there was lots to due within walking distance. The rooms was great & the view was spectacular! It did get a bit hot during the day with no a/c but the sounds of the waves made up for it. This was my family's first trip to Kauai and we fell in love with it! When we come back, we will definitely stay at Whalers Cove! Mahalo Marianne & Dee for your kindness & hospitality!

The location is fantastic. The condos are within walking distance of several small beaches, numerous restaurants and shops. Plus the property is well maintained and very quiet.

Great view of ocean from our balcony. Room was a bit warm during the day without AC. Overall property maintained well. Furnishings in unit were tired and in need of update.

My wife and I spent four nights at the Whalers Cove in early December 2019. The Cove is a condominium complex located in the Koloa/Poipu area of Kauai. We had a HUGE two bedroom, ocean view unit on the ground floor. The unit was decorated tastefully and comfortably and had more than enough plates, glasses, cooking utensils, etc,, not that we did any cooking during our stay. Although the complex does not have beach access, it does have a nice pool and spa and beach access is close by (by car). The complex does provide beach chairs, umbrellas, towels and snorkeling gear at no charge. It was very quiet at night and the unit was clean. There is an excellent shopping center within walking distance that has a variety of restaurants and shops. The main area of Poipu Beach is five minutes away by car and the tourist attractions on the south and west side (e.g., Waimea Canyon, Salt Pond Beach) are within a reasonable driving distance. Families or couples who want the convenience of being able to have their meals on site should consider this facility. we felt the complex provided good value for the money.

This is one great place for vacation and relaxation. The hotel is just by the ocean, the view from the balcony is spectacular and the waves crashing on the shore complete the picture of tropical perfection. The south part of Kauai is one of the few places on the island where the sunrise can be seen. The unit # 233 is an ocean front with spacious balcony and beautifully decorated with all items having motives of tropical islands and ocean. Also, the room was exceptionally clean and equipped with all important vacation items. Hotel staff is very kind and always helpful. Very nice location with a plaza with many store and restaurants nearby, and many interesting places around to visit.

The property was as promised. Clean, spacious and very well furnished. The view of the pool and ocean from our second floor balcony was beautiful. There isn’t air conditioning but ceiling and auxiliary fans were provided.

This is a nice oceanfront property. We had a two-bed room unit on the ground floor overlooking the pool and the ocean. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils you need. The property is clean and we had the needed daily housekeeping. We had the help when we needed: we had an in-room safe which malfunctioned, but they had someone who took care of it in time. Overall very happy with the stay and would love to go back to stay there. It was a pleasure interacting with the property manager there: very nice, friendly and welcoming.
