El desayuno es siempre lo mismo. Hay mucho olor a humedad en las habitaciones. Los tapizados de los sillones y sillas del comedor estan muy sucios.

"Schönes Haus, sehr zentral gelegen, gutes Frühstück."

Das Hotel liegt mitten in Newberry, direkt gegenüber des Opernhauses. Der check-in war sehr freundlich, wir haben gleich ein paar Tipps bekommen und ein paar Scherze gemacht. Das Zimmer ist groß, mit zwei großen Betten, die recht bequem waren. Genug Ablagefläche im Bad, eine Badewanne, alles gut. Das Zimmer wird nur auf Anfrage gereinigt, frische Handtücher bekommt man an der Rezeption. Wir waren nur drei Nächte da, deswegen hat es uns gereicht, wenn der Müll entfernt wurde, was auf Anfrage erledigt wurde. Parkplätze sind gratis und ausreichend vorhanden. Das Frühstück ist besser, als in den meisten amerikanischen Ketten. Es gab wechselnde Speisen, Waffeln zum selbst backen mit unterschiedlichen Geschmäckern, verschiedene Säfte, Ei, Speck etc. Wirklich gut, wir waren zufrieden. Kaffee und Tee stand in der Lobby 24/7 zur Verfügung, auch Wasserspender gab es. Softgetränke aus dem Automaten zu günstigen Preisen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wie immer in den USA: Plastik-Besteck und -Teller beim Frühstück. Schlimm und schade, dass das noch immer normal ist.

"Stay here if you must (you must as there is a dearth of options) but do not expect to be impressed."

The location was excellent. In fact, it was the only aspect of this hotel that merits five stars. The breakfast buffet was ..meh.. but at least the coffee was hot and strong.

If ever a hotel was a solid C- this was it. Other than the aforementioned location ( it is literally the only game in town) there was nothing that was truly noteworthy, neither good nor bad.

"It was overall great, and the staff was very friendly!"

It was in a perfect location for a two-night stay. Being right next to Main Street in Newberry kept me occupied and entertained during my stay! I also love the architecture of the hotel property.

Some of the facilities weren’t fully as expected. The toilet paper holder in the bathroom was broken on one side and the bedside table was slanted. Obviously those things aren’t that important but it was something I had noticed that could’ve been pretty easy fixes to do before having someone stay in the room.
