Days Inn & Suites by Wyndham Kaukauna WI

This hotel was disgusting and overpriced! Our room stunk, our sheets felt damp, there was a Glade Plug-in that was EMPTY plugged into the outlet by our tiny bathroom sink, you can barely turn around in the bathroom, the couch had stains ALL OVER IT, and the customer service was awful! For paying $170, I would have expected to NOT have black hairs in the bathtub when I took a shower! I would not recommend this place at all, unless you don’t mind sleeping with one eye open! Also, I just found out my daughter got charged $40 for towel damage and she has no clue why! This place is a joke!

I stayed here with my spouse over the last weekend (July 12th,2025). As soon as we walked in the doors, the customer service was horrible. The people checking us in could barely speak English and were extremely hard to understand. We stayed upstairs in room 205, and the floor was extremely soft, and squishy for laminate flooring. They charged us an extra 30 dollars to check in 1 hour early for a wedding that we drove 3 hours for. Then upon checking out, we were charged a total of 168 dollars for the one night, and then another 40 dollars for supposed damage. Now mind you, we barely unpacked because we stayed one night and had a wedding. They claimed there was damage to our "towels"... Which is nearly impossible when all you are doing is showering. I would absolutely NOT recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not worth the money, and I feel like they try to get as much money out of you as they can. I have no issue paying for a nice hotel that is worth it, but this one, was definitely not worth 50 dollars a night at most. Their hotel looks nothing like the website, so don't fall victim to staying here.

Didn't partake in breakfast other than coffee. The offerings were rather minimal, not anything we wanted.

There was an odd smell in the room the whole time, we couldn't figure out what it was. They had no cleaning staff, and we were told that by the management.The room looked remodeled but the kept the old doors including the rusty bathroom door frame with the broken clothes hook still on the door. The free breakfast was sad, so we ended up going to a local cafe. We got in to town a day early so we were leaving early and I asked if we could receive a day back because we were leaving Sunday morning at 1 am I was told no because they gave us a deal at 132 dollars a night and that our room was in high demand so we were lucky we reserved it.We checked out at 1am Sunday with a young lady who acted like she was annoyed that I had bothered her and today (Monday) I got a text and e-mail asked when we planned on checking out. We also had some idiot banging on our door thinking it was his room, turns out he was 3 doors down from us. Overall not a good experience, next time I will steer clear of Day's Inn

The coffee machine did not work. Staff found it difficult to change the batteries in the remote control to get the TV working. The pool area smelled moldy and the pool needed to be cleaned and shocked with some chlorine. Bed was generally clean and comfortable.

Room was not clean. Someone’s left behind makeup was still in the room. Used straw on the kitchenette. Ran out of syrup and yogurt at breakfast. Definitely disappointing.

This is a horrendous run hotel. Nobody knows what’s going on. Nobody’s in charge. Reservations are meaningless because they don’t honor them. Refrigerators don’t work in rooms and they won’t do anything about it so I found some new ones in boxes replaced it myself. They promised first floor accommodations because we shall not do stairs and there is no elevator. But they will not give me back my money on my card that I reserved a room for that they didn’t honor. But this is all the hotels and motels owned by Wyndham. They have bought all the competition so the choices are very limited , Wyndham is run by stockholders which means there is really no management. They are using Indian or Pakistani’s to run them who barely speak English. So unless you find a privately owned hotel chain like DRURY who bring customer service to a new level of satisfaction ,you’ll end up in a third rate Wyndham owned hotel that operates on a low level of customer service I’ve never seen before.
