Holiday Inn South Kingstown-University of Rhode Island by IHG

The hotel was a convenient and easy travel distanced from Newport.

A minor inconvenience was that the hallway was not air conditioned or properly air conditioned and some of the products in the bathroom were either empty(shower body wash) or not up to standard(like the body lotion).

The restaurant was excellent and I loved the outdoor pool. Such a bonus!!

There was a horrible smell coming from the bathroom the whole time. Maybe the pipes? No contental breakfast.

We appreciated the free and secure parking and the friendly, welcoming staff. Our two bed room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with queen size beds. The air conditioning worked very well, and overall the room was well maintained.

The hotel is a bit difficult to find, especially at night due to poor lighting on a fast road. There was ongoing construction that we were not informed about beforehand, with noise starting early in the morning and some visible mess. The corridors had an unpleasant smell, and the elevator felt outdated and slightly uncomfortable to use. The TV was also outdated with limited options. Additionally, our room was not cleaned at all during our stay.
