El Pueblo Lodge

We enjoyed our 3 night stay here. Breakfast had everything you could want but could do without the guy watching everything you do. The food was plentiful & very good. We were told we would get a call when room was ready (& that if we got in before 2 there would be an extra charge!!). We never got a call when a room was ready. Location is great. You can easily walk to many interesting places. Room was pleasant & temperature easy to control ( was 21° outside 1 morning ). Coffee maker, microwave & refrigerator appreciated. We used the laundry facility & that was convenient & helpful. Speaking of helpful, Antonia was GREAT with any/all concerns. She was really an asset!

Such a beautiful hotel, I highly recommend it.

The staff at the reception desk were very friendly and helpful each time we asked questions. The kitchen staff were equally great. The grounds of the hotel are kept clean and the lodge is decorated with nice murals painted on the walls. We liked that we could park close to our room. Our dog had plenty of nice grass to do her business. The breakfast in the morning was the best EVER and the covered patio was nice and warm on cool mornings. There was a plentiful selection of delicious food for breakfast including some New Mexico specialties like tamales with green sauce, beans, roasted veggies etc. Everything was so darn good. The hotel also bakes yummy chocolate chip cookies in the afternoon for guests and chips and salsa are served as well. The hotel is walkable ( 10-15 minutes)to the main town square and shops so you can leave your car at the hotel and not have the hassle of finding a spot in town.
