Dear Booking.com Customer Service, I am writing to formally report a concern regarding a property listed on your platform, the Lincoln Hotel in Monterey Park, and to request review and assistance regarding my recent booking. The condition of the rooms I was provided did not match the expectations set by the listing on your platform. Specifically, the bathrooms in both the initial room and the replacement room were in unsanitary and poorly maintained condition, including non-functioning or inadequate lighting. This was not an isolated issue, as both rooms fell below basic cleanliness and habitability standards. There was no clear or accurate representation on the listing indicating that the property’s condition may be significantly below standard. As a result, I relied on the information provided and booked under the reasonable expectation of receiving a clean and acceptable accommodation. It appears the property may have been in a state of operational decline or closure at the time of my stay, which was not disclosed at booking. Regardless, accommodations sold to guests must meet basic standards of cleanliness, maintenance, and habitability, which was not the case here. While the staff at the property were courteous, the physical condition of the rooms did not meet what was advertised or what a guest should reasonably expect. I do not feel that I received what I paid for. I have retained photographic evidence documenting the condition of the rooms and am prepared to provide this documentation to support my complaint. "Decent place to stay for the price. No frills."

The breakfast was OK. The same fare every day but I only ate on my last day; I had other things to do. No cream/milk for the coffee though. No fresh fruit either. Oddly, there were no face towels in the bathroom. The hotel is old and could use a lot of upgrading. The location, for me, was the deciding factor considering what I had to do in Pasadena and Monterey Park.

A lot of upgrading of worn items like carpet, fixtures, trims throughout could use freshening up and repairs. Still for the price, it's a value.

"廁所毛巾架上有長髮掛在毛巾旁邊、前台問問題愛理不理,隔音差一直聽到隔壁重重關門聲還一度有大聲敲我們的房門聲,房門口貼無菸房但check in時聽到客人熟門熟路的跟另一個客人介紹:我就是喜歡他們這裡可以抽菸,客人幾乎是老中"
