Travelodge by Wyndham Outer Banks/Kill Devil Hills

Parking in front of room and having an outside entrance to the room. Housekeeping did a great job.

No Breakfast! Hotel Ad said there was Breakfast. Was nice to have Coffee and Juice available all day and night.

Ideal location

The location was very good. The room was adequate.

We ran out of toilet paper, did not have shampoo, and ran out of towels. We did pick up some at the front desk, and we told the desk clerk that our trash cans were overflowing, she assured us that housekeeping would come and pick up the trash. We never saw housekeeping. We packaged up the trash ourselves. Also, there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana. We kept the slider closed so we would not have to smell marijuana.

We stayed at the same hotel in April. At that time it was better. In April we had the 4th floor. For this stay we asked for King size bed on highest floor. We got 3rd floor this time that was handicapped accessible. We did not ask for that. The room was outdated. The microwave worked but did not spin. The comforter had stains. The chairs on balcony were black marks. They stopped the grab and go breakfast. Told me it had been stopped long time ago. They did have it when I stayed before. Most of the staff not friendly but were in April. Next time we will stay somewhere else. The pictures you see online are not what you get. As a Wyndham rewards member, we will stay at a different hotel next time.

We had been here back in May 2025 and decided to stay here again. We asked for a regular king bed room on 4th floor but were given a handicapped room king size on the 3rd floor. They no longer offer any breakfast. Your list of amenities needs to be updated as it still shows it offering breakfast. The room was over all ok but needs some updating. Internet was better this time. I guess signal to 4th floor is stretching it.

The location and the friendly staff

It wasn't very clean. Someone's nose ring was on our sink and there was hair in the shower and the pillows smelled like people's head. One of the lights didn't work and the electric socket in it didn't either

Front of hotel looks like it is falling apart. The rooms as a very strong odor. But staff is wobderful
