"Poor customer service "

I reserved a room with 2 queen size beds for my weekend stay. I arrived in the early morning hours on a Saturday. I had already booked a room for 2 nights but wasn’t going to pay until I arrived. Unknown to me they had canceled my hotel room and then charged me for 2 nights anyway. I didn’t even stay at the hotel because this is just not the way you treat people and handle business. I went right across the walkway and Hampton Inn found a room that was suitable for my liking. The young lady at the front desk at Fairfield Inn told me that my room was canceled because it was almost the end of her shift. Unacceptable excuse and POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

This is a very well-maintained hotel. Everything in the room looked brand new--bedding, counters, carpet, and all!! I was very, very pleased. The breakfast dining area was large and private from the registration area, making it very comfortable. The staff members were all friendly and professional. I will stay here again when I need a place in Odessa!!

upon check in, the property management did not honor the type of room that was reserved and pre-paid thru EXPEDIA, the counter employee, Naeomi, indicated that since I made the reservation thru EXPEDIA, it was their policy to give preference to MARRIOT members, which, I'm a member of Marriot, to her,it did not matter, I contacted Expedia and explained the situation, while Expedia was working on solving the issue, the hotel counter employee kept registering guests, I asked her about the three guest she registered while I waited and she just told me they were all platinum members,, EXPEDIA agents worked expeditiously and relocated me to a different property, although when I travel, I generally look for Marriot properties, after this experience, I will be disassociating myself from the Marriot family,
