AUUSI really liked the location of the property because it wasn’t in a super busy spot in Carmel. The bed was also comfortable!
I felt like the room wasn’t very clean and the parking situation was bad too. There was a bunch of hair on the floor and in the bathroom when we got to our room and there was even a used earplug on the floor under the bed. It was very off putting. I also brought my electric vehicle because the property claims they have EV charging but there is only 3 total spots that have charging. The parking lot was almost completely full by the time we got back to our hotel at 9pm and not only did we not get a spot to charge, we could barely find a spot to park in general. And they charge $30 a night for parking? I reached out to the hotel and they never got back to me.
CALocation was good! Rooms seemed like they were renovated and done very well ! Beds were comfy !

The facility charges extra for everything, starting with a mandatory ‘resort fee’ for the pool and WiFi, even if you don’t use them. The parking is now $33/night, which pretty much everybody is going to end up paying because this location is not someplace you would take rapid transit or walk to. But the most annoying charge was $2 to cut our hamburger in half at the restaurant. My wife mentioned in passing that we were going to split everything, and, the burger came cut in half - not on an extra plate, just cut in half. When the bill came, there was a charge for $2 for this service which probably took less than 10 seconds and which we would have happily done ourselves. It’s not a lot of money compared to the cost of the stay, but it’s a good indication of how the management here is looking to nickel and dime the customers.
