We stayed in a corner room on one of the upper floors, and the views over the sea were truly stunning. The room looked exactly like in the pictures and it was adequate, though cleanliness could be improved — for example, the tables could have done with a proper wipe-down. The bathroom was fine. Valet parking worked really well. Breakfast in the room was disappointing. The selection was limited, and I had requested gluten-free options, but nothing was labelled to indicate which items were gluten-free — including the bread. On the second morning we decided to have breakfast elsewhere. In the afternoon, wine and cheese were served in the hotel lobby, which was a nice touch, though again nothing particularly impressive. Overall a good stay. The hotel’s location is excellent.

The balcony.

The frayed towel and frayed top sheet. The breakfast pastry was puny and didn’t receive our full order. The bathroom floor needed maintenance. Half the staff was friendly and half was unfriendly.

Excellent staff and service. Comfortable room and furnishings , nicely decorated with a great ocean view. We felt very welcomed by the staff, plus the added attention with cheese and wine in the evening.
