DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Savannah Historic District

The valet parking staff, especially Kollin Stone, took excellent care of us and always greeted us when we would come and go.

We had a great stay during our first visit to Savannah. It was a great location since we were able to easily walk everywhere we wanted to visit. It was a nice room and beautifully decorated for the holidays. Staff were also very friendly! We’d go back and stay here whenever we visit Savannah again!

This hotel is in a great location, near the market in savannah, and easy access to river walk. Hotel looks great and is well maintained. However, we were unable to sleep whatsoever as it is adjacent to a very busy street with an overbundance of trucks that seemed to hit a bump everytime they passed our room. The noise was constant throughout the night. Upon leaving, I noticed a small sound machine which did not work, but aoparently this is a problem at least on that side of the hotel. I highly recommend that you seek another hotel in the savannah area so that you can both enjoy a full day in Savannah, but be able to have a restful evening.

At odds how to rate this experience because we love the hotel and all its employees, but valet parking rates are off the chart. I know parking in Savannah is limited but the valet parking rate is nothing but pure unadulterated thievery. The price for a three-day parking pass equals the cost of a day's stay at the hotel. The first time I needed the car it took over 15 minutes for the valet to find my car fob; second day was a repeat of the first. Third day the revelation occurred, the check-in valet had spelled my name incorrectly. If you want your car to go someplace you have to use their APP which requires a credit card payment up-front.

We had a very nice stay Thanksgiving weekend. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I want to give a special shout out to the valet, Jaime. We were traveling with a small dog and Jaime was so sweet. She worked very hard. When we checked out on Saturday, she was working by herself and hustling. She is an asset to the Doubletree valet department. I give her 5 BIG STARS for excellence.

Great location to stay at, the only thing is that you can hear everything on the road and since it’s near the port you can hear the trucks going in and out all night. Killing stone took care of our car and did a great job!

Great clean hotel! Parking attendants went above and beyond! Will be bringing my business back. Joe with PMC parking helped me out in a jam, that’s the kind of service we need more of 🥰

Great hotel in a fantastic location! Walking distance to several sights. The rooms were updated and clean. The staff was friendly.

Good location and nice hotel. Lack of availability electrical outlets in room was a major drawback. Some used outlets could not be unplugged so it made getting dressed an issue as well as charging phones and laptop.

Great room, better than expected! Had a refrigerator nice view and much more room than I needed it made the people I was traveling with jealous.
