Super 8 by Wyndham Edmonton International Airport

Ummm 🤔

The nails coming up threw floor where there was no flooring 🤨 the filthy couch and uneven floor / rug, also the bedroom door opened even if you locked it, also after leaving to get food when we came back to our room our key card wouldn’t work, no biggie took they’re tiny incredibly slow elevator down to get a new one, tired that one, doesn’t work, get a employee to come help, she couldn’t figure it out either, she calls her manager, eventually they had to reset it somehow, waited a good hour outside our room while the staff tried to get the door to open, it was past 8pm ( with 2 tired little kids) had we not had all our family’s stuff in the room we would have just left and gone to a different hotel, they did offer us a different room but we had the best room in the hotel so didn’t want to downgrade rooms, it was late and we needed our stuff, thought they’d maybe comp or discount our room but nope😑 oh and I don’t know if they were starting to “renovate” the room, but there was a bunch of trim missing and paint patch’s that were the wrong colour (from holes in the wall) , the bedroom door also had a horribly done patched hole, we entered the room and our jaws honestly dropped at the quality of the room, like what kind of owner /manager thinks this quality is acceptable!

Staff was friendly, the room itself was clean, convenient shuttle

The common and main areas of the hotel were older, the hotel smells older and muggy

Always a good stay. Always clean comfortable and convenient.

A little more range of breakfast items

The location was good. Beds were comfortable.

We were supposed to have the King bed and it was booked out to someone else. We arrived late and were disappointed in that outcome.
