Hilton Vacation Club Sedona Summit

The room was nice. The pools and spas were good - we visited a couple. One had a nice view. The unit was reasonably well equipped. It was nice to have a washing machine and dryer in the unit.

Comfortable, good room amenities

Hot tub had padlock during open hours on our 1st day, also tried to use hot tub on check out day (during hot tub hours) but room key had been disabled. Called front desk and staff was a bit rude, and said we would have to bring up our room key to the office to allow us to use the hot tub. Had to flush a few bugs/spider in the bathroom.

We have stayed here a few times and love it. We have stayed in a 2 bedroom unit and a unit with a lock off. Before I made reservations, I called and talked with a representative to make sure I got the 2 bedroom unit because we needed the 3 beds so no one would have to sleep on the pull out sofa. When we arrived we got a 2 bedroom lock off. It has 2 bed and 2 pull out sofas. I called the front desk, she told me they don't have a 2 bedroom with 3 beds. I told her we have stay in a room like that and she still denied it. When we were out walking, a lady was sitting on the balcony where we stay before with the 2 bedroom. I asked her about her unit. Of course it was the 2 bedroom with the 3 beds. I called the front desk again because the coffee pot in my sisters studio unit had lots of black slim in it and I asked again about the unit I had reserved, and told her what the lady told me. They still denied it. If you look at their site on RCI, you will see 2 different 2 bedroom descriptions, one that sleeps 6 and one that sleeps 8. They were dishonest with me. Also, we trusted the cleaning service and to have black slim in the coffee pot was discussing and unacceptable especially in the current times we are living. I'm very upset and expected better.

Property was beautiful and had everything we needed.

Someone to take baggage up stairs. Said someone was coming..never came.

Water pressure and sewage smell. This was taken care of however we had to leave the room sooner than expected as the smell was terrible

Checkin was smooth

That there was a preview center and not a check-in at the beginning of the park and that I had to call for help

Make sure to book in the newer part of the complex - Mesa or Sunrise. My accommodation was in Block 10 with a view of the carpark and other apartments rather than the gardens or red rocks. Whilst large and well kitted out the suite was extremely dated (80s?) with heavy dark furniture and carpet and a strong musty smell throughout.
